Happy Monday! I was featured on lovebscott.com over the weekend and I wanted to post the video here for those of you who may have missed it. The video is in response to all of the homophobic and cruel comments left by the readers of the urban entertainment site Concrete Loop for B. Scott. I won't go into any more detail because the video says it all. Get into it and don't be afraid to leave a comment. Double kisses!

Well I truly hope that whomever posted that mess had a chance to watch your video because after putting all black, gay men into a box (and all black men period for that matter)they can see that other sides do exist.
Thank you for standing up for B.Scott. He truly is everything you said but I would've also added another point - he's out there trying to be positive which is my favorite thing about him. He's not out there adding to the media junk tearing people down and throwing people away. He consistently brings a positive energy to his YouTube videos, his website and now to ConcreteLoop. They're lucky to have him! Screw the 'haters'.

Darian, as always your passion and strength inspire me! I applaud your bringing such concerns to the forefront! The only downside is now this anonymous 'hater' has been given a voice. I think one of the (endless list of) problems we have is that we have to justify and prove ourselves to people like this individual. We are so much more than the spineless moron who fails to see the good in him/herself and who projects his/her self hatered onto the fabulous likes of B.Scott and you. In simple terms...."Fuck 'em". B Scott and anyone else who stands in their true light will shine, encourage, prosper and heal. At the end of the day, if you don't have 'haters' then you are not doing it right!

i have no idea what B Scott's sexuality is, and I have never met him.

99.9999 pct of America is in the same boat.

I think it is reasonable to say, however, and no hate, that when that 99.9999 pct crosses paths with one of his videos, they may think they are watching an amateur female impersonator.

Marshall McLuhan once said "the medium is the message".

I have never come across your website and this is the first time that I have seen this video though I read some of the aftermath when it all occurred. I just wanted to applaud you for taking a stand and posting the video. The ignorance that is disguised by a this high morale ground needs to be shattered and called out for what it really is, hate and the inability for someone to just ATTEMPT to accept or respect something they do not understand.

I'm glad you posted this Darian. We need to stand up for our black gay men because the ignorance needs to stop. It is naive to think that there should be one way a black men should be. Pity on that ignorant black dude. I'm looking out for B. Scott and I support him most definitely.

I happen to be one of B Scott`s "love Muffins". I feel that he brings light and laughter to some very serious situations. He inspires me to do better and be better. He always has a smile and advice. He has over 13,000 subcribers on his ytube alone so that speaks volumes. As people who just happen to be lgbt we need to encourage eachother and honor our acheivments. Bravo to your blog and doind something so important and that is sharing!
