An update on the horrific story of the Connecticut black gay teen whose gay exorcism was profiled on loldarian.com back in July and went on to receive national attention after video footage first appeared on YouTube.

The 16 year old gay teen who goes by the name "Jeffrey" appeared on the Tyra Banks show on Wednesday to denounce his former lifestyle and to proclaim that he'd been healed from homosexuality, although he admits that he still finds men attractive.

"I am healed by the power and authority of the Holy Spirit that came into me that day...and removed the unclean spirit from me, says Jeffrey.

Because I do not want to live the homosexual lifestyle. I have nothing against them if they want to live that way but they have a choice to serve ... the Lord."

Self-proclaimed "prophet" and demon caster Patricia McKinney was also on hand to defend the spiritual abuse of "Jeffrey" at the hands of she and husband "overseer" Kelvin McKinney- whose brand of heterosexist, dominant, & self-righteous judgement was on full display.

It's very telling that the teen seems to be wearing a beard as a disguise. I'm sure this won't be the first or the last time he has to do so. This brings me to tears. The black church has messed us up.

Watch the video in full below:

Thanks Bryan

To borrow a phrase from YBF's Natasha:

If these people are supposed to be God's representatives, God needs new people.

That boy is going to have a miserable time of it because of religious based insanity.

Poor thing. He has put himself through all of this just to please mankind. Because at the end of the day you can't hide the desires of your heart from God. If he still finds men attractive then the homosexual lust is obciously still present. Just because you choose not to have sex with men does not make you straight or rid of your same sex attraction.

I was I had known about the taping sooner. I would have like to been there. It's too bad the original video is no longer around; I noted elsewhere that it appeared to me that someone stuck something in Jeffrey's mouth causing him to throw up.

That woman needs to be right into fucking jail.

Wow, they should really be ashamed, I thought that beard was fake. I believe they told him to wear it to appear more masculine. I said what 16 year old has a full beard like that... Part of me wants to believe that they mean well in trying to help him, but they have gone about it the wrong way. They really need spiritual training and counseling.

When will we learn that God loves us the way we are. We are not going to Hell for our same sex attraction. Go out and support these affirming ministries. Be enlightened and get the revelation that you need.

What is with that beard!?

The moment he turns 18 and sees a flyer for Sizzle, it's over baby.

I couldn’t watch this without crying.
First of all, its apparent that he is wearing a disguise, and that he was coached on what to say the entire time.

The brainwashing is so evident, that even people who are AGAINST homosexuality will be able to see that "Jeffery"'s answers were not convincing.

Its Funny how the male "overseer" was quick to point out "Anger" in other people.
IN watching this (and I watched its 2 1/2 times, notice his body language) You can see anger building all in him, as if he wanted to physically fight someone. He was biting his lip, keeping his head down to the ground, keeping his fists clasped together, psychology will tell you those are all postures that pertains to aggression, and the intent to strike if provoked.

Notice how when the conversation got heated, he interjected to where even Tyra couldn’t even have control over her own show for a minute. Him yelling and fussing at the women and the audience, but yet had the NERVE to say others were "ANGRY"???
Really? GTFOH!

I wish our Black GLBT community would take a harsher stand against this wall of hatred that has come against us.

We literally are fighting amongst each other, and it seems we are loosing the battle.

My hear literally broke for that boy because in the LONG TERM, his true nature will come out, and it will come out in such force that he will not be to emotionally handle the onset of it.

The Black Community seems as if its destined to destroy itself because of our inability to accept and love one another.

How dare she come on Tyra's show speaking all of that CLEARLY psychotic babble as if it is the truth. The "spiritual realm" she travels through should have directed her to a better wig and some grammar lessons.

First of all...

Tyra is sooo PRETTY! I loved her make up and hair in this...lol. I just had to comment.

Anyway, this is so sad. I don't judge him because I WAS him. Having grown up in a very evangelical setting you are taught by your family and the church that what you are is EVIL...no more no less. And if you can't be "normal" then you should do everything you can to be "normal."

I hope that Calvin finds his own normal. And hopefully it won't be by being a big whore at a sex party or something. He needs affirming people around him AND counseling to break free of the demons that are his church and family.

Heaven help us all....i myself was a jeffrey, going thru it...but i had to understand the difference between human sexuality and sprituality, and understand that christ came to love, and so having gone thru what i had gone thru with the church....i came to love God even the more, and then finding real and true love for myself. and thats what makes the difference...Loving God..Him Loving YOu, and YOU LOVING Who He Made You!

If you wanna believe there are heaven and hell then you should believe there is a one and only God. And when you believe in God you should believe in the Truth. The Truth as in the words in the Bible, God's words.
