If it wasn't clear why the number of people who attend church regularly are beginning to decline then this video may be a clear indication of why many believers are making a mass exodus from the church.

The video you are about to watch was shot during a worship service in Bridgeport, Connecticut where "allegedly" a young gay man named Frederick sought out church leaders to be delivered from homosexuality. The video was originally uploaded to YouTube in early March and mysteriously disappeared as word spread that the church could face a possible investigation for the incident, it has since resurfaced.

What you will witness in this video is a full on exorcism, videotaped by members of the church and posted to YouTube as a form of entertainment. Unfortunately, for Frederick this circus side show masquerading as Christianity has real consequences. Even the rabidly anti-gay "ex-homosexual" Pastor DL Foster of Gay Christian Movement Watch is condemning the church's actions:

"It is a very poor reflection upon the church and Christ to film this as it were some entertainment and treat the young man in the manner in which he was treated. We call on Christian churches to stop sensationalizing this issue in this manner and follow clear biblical examples both in dealing with the demonic and members of the church who struggle with unresolved same sex issues."

You might want to brace yourselves as your eyes and ears may bleed after you watch this.

A few quotes taken from the video by the good people of God doing "God's work".

"We gonna see Fred today...Fredricka gotta go"!

"I need you to open your mouth and fight"!

"It's in your mouth Freddie"! "Loose your mouth"!

"You homosexual demon, get on up outta here"!

Thanks Chris

I can't even describe how I feel about this video. I feel sorry for this guy. It also makes the rest of the church memebers look ridiculous. It's like the church is hurting it's members more then they are helping them. In the bigger picture, they could be blocking Gods blessing for the individual. Because the bottom line is that God knows our heart and he knows what we need. No human being knows the others destiny.

First and Foremost: I am not watching the video. I know what an ignorant state our churches are currently in and I need not witness anymore of it.

However, A part of me is just pissed the hell off at the guy in the video. Maybe I am pissed off at him maybe I see him as a pitiful individual raised in a hateful environment. Ugh why did he allow himself to be put through this. Religion has such a evil and problematic grip on black people these days its disgusting. Ugh again why put yourself through this. All of this for a god who hates you? Who is gonna make you burn in hell forever because HE made you the way you are. Religion sickens me to a level I can not comprehend. Ugh.

Again why put yourself through it young man? Were there no other outlets?

And the despicable supposedly christians in this video? ugh.

After looking at this video, I have indescribable feelings. I'm not going to touch on the view Southern Baptist Churches have on homosexuals, but I will say that it is sad, and disturbing. I was laughing at this video and angry at the same time. I wanted to leave a comment on the video so bad, but they disabled it!

How do you "cast out demonic spirits" from an individual when there wasn't anything there from the beginning. It looked to me like they were definitely performing some kind of "exorcism of the homosexual." Like really people, are you serious..I just don't get it.

It's really sickening that people still see homosexuality as a demonic lifestyle. Many people have touched on this topic of the degree of a sin, and the homosexuals in the church. Fortunately, we are entering an era that is more open and accepting, and I know that homosexuality will not be accepted by all, but any progression with this subject is great. Everyone needs to have an open mind and heart, because at the end of the day...we are only praying to one man...and not a human.

Who knows what motivated that man to seek the assistance of the church? Perhaps he is unhappy with his sexual orientation. However, I believe the pastor and his "brothers and sisters" violated him by offering services that they cannot provide. Does the Bible state that the "dehomosexualizng process" requires a woman to rest her foot on the chest of the possessed one? This is simply a shameful circus act.

Being raised in the Pentecostal church, I know what it looks like to have a demon cast out. This truly was not a demon! It looks more like a purge from uncleanliness which could have been anything. Demons run and have great strength..thr younh man only had one guy carrying him...get real.... so unreal. I believe in holiness and a pure life and I am gay and saved and filled with holy ghost!

So Sad! If Prophetess and her nut bunch spent half that energy helping lil Malik who reads below basic, and lil Dineja who reads two grade levels below - we'll close the ed. gap. But too many dumb-azz negros wanna cast out gay demons,to include, galvanize marches and massive protest against same-sex marriage.

What's really sad: they made Freddie believe he is possessed. Imagine, believing you're possessed! But too many gay men believe they live in sin and their existence is sinful - all because these religious NUTs within society tell them so.

Also, why does pastor DL Foster oppose such sick actions? His sick rhetoric is why Freddie is at the alter allowing such antics. Pastor Foster profess he was delivered from gayness( a big lie). So this is the result of DL Foster's lies, lies, and more lies.

What an utter mess. 20 minutes of utter chaos... can someone please share with me the results. Is Freddy free of his homosexual( did he throw it up in that plastic bag). And to think all of this done in the name of Jesus... woww is all I can say. This church may have had Freddy's best interest in heart but this method of ministering to him was nothing short of ridiculous and harmful. I would love to see the videos that this church have posted on '' casting out'' cheating husbands, whoring wives.. not paying your tithes.. alcoholism, backbitting, gossping. Or was freddy so called homosexual demon the only sin in the church. I am sitting here in shock thinking to myself... DUMB ASS FREDDY, and CRAZY ASS CHURCH. 20mins of yelling and shaking poor freddy around. No wonder the dam boy threw up, hell the man shook him for 20 dam minutes. let me close this comment with the following words. a real devil, knows a real GOD. Demons will tremble at the NAME of JESUS. It wont take long for that to happen. And let me say in closing, those folks better be dam glad they didnt come across a demon or all their asses would have run out that church and left frederica on the floor doing his calastetics.
AGAIN... WHAT A DAM MESS.

My gay brothers and sister, Know GOD for yourself and Let him Know you. Keep your dam business to yourself. If you want to confess, take your ass to a secret closet and tell GOD all about it.... but WAIT. GOD knows and cares and loves you.

In love

What the hell! I can't believe that people are that damn stupid! Now, I have seen it at.

Black people are the dumbest people on the face of this earth when comes to religion! And that's why young black gay men are getting infected with HIV/AIDS and killing themselves over foolishness like this.

I am glad that I do not go to churches that are like that.

My heart aches....
My eyes burn...
My mouth sways...

What utter chaos, ignorance, and foolishness. I mean really? I've seen a so called exorcism before and I left that one too. These store front churches and folks who hate in the name of Jesus will pay for this. What kills me is that fact that just because one may consider him or herself homosexual doesn't mean he or she wants to be the opposite sex. Ignorance.

This looks like a store front Pentecostal church. Probably independent and not part of a national organization like COGIC or PAW. Anyway, I grew up in a similar environment and I'm almost certain that this young man was "called out". At the end of the sermon, Pentecostal preachers are known for calling prayer lines where individuals come up for prayer. Or they are selected (called out) to come up for prayer. Many times their prayer request or situation is broadcast over the microphone for all to hear. As you see in the video, people gather around the individual and pray for them. It is not uncommon to see this in most Pentecostal churches. Sadly enough I didn't see anything in this video that I've never seen or heard of before. I'm not surprised at all, this happens more than you would think. This is not an isolated event, it happens in many churches across the country. I would love to hear the young man's testimony for myself. I really wonder if he was "delivered" or if he was simply shamed beyond belief...

please bear with me here and allow me to compose myself for a few moments....... this video brought tears to my eyes for the simple reason that one should not have to wrestle with god in order to recieve a devine bleesing or deliverance from the god of all ages. my god is quite capable of delivering us from whatever bondage we feel we may be bound to or inflicted with.
the way that their hovering over this young man and calling out this presumed demon in this young man is to me likened to an exorcism and believe it or not one should be very, very careful when attempting to cast out demons if you're not fully and thouroughly wearing the full armour of god and literally living the life you're preaching. i'd refrain from any such carrying on's because the demonic world is nothing to be fooled around with if you are not a true child of the king.
now i'm not saying the people in this video are not true children of god but what i am saying is when you pray with a sincere heart to the lord he will hear and answer your prayer no matter how big or small your request is, it dose not take all of what's going on in this video to get a bleesing or deliverance from the lord and as far as the young man being gay chances are he was born that way as most of gay people are i'll be the first to admit that it is a learned behaviour for alot of people but for most it's as natural to them as it is to brethe and i've lived long enough to know that god dose not aprove of it but i also know that he he loves us inspite of it and that he can and will deliver us from it if we committ our whole lives and being to him i'm not saying it will go away over night but it will go, you will always be a homosexual but god will deliver you and keep you from the temptations of your desire if we just turn away from them it's just like being a recovering drug addict or alcoholic you'll always be those things but through gods grace he will keep yopu as long as you want to be kept and i'll be the first to tell you it's not an easy job but it can be done. the closer you draw nearewr to god the closer he'll draw to you and you'll find yourself wanting to please him more and more and all else is seconedary you'll want to please him even more than yourself i'm not telling what i heard or what somebody told me i'm telling you what i know

sincerely w.p.c.a.

The same outcome would have resulted if they were praying over someone who was sick. Believe me, I know. When I was in the church, I've seen the pastor and missionaries and other members praying for people. One situation was this woman usher in the church who had an ulcer and would be throwing up right in church and the pastor would pray for her and it was as time consuming as the video; the woman is dead.

But the pastor always tell us, that the Lord can heal through death. However, it always bring up the question in my mind the part of a scripture in the Bible which says, "...these signs shall follow them that believe they shall heal the sick, raise the dead, tread up serpents and if they take anything poison will not harm them," have yet to see such miracles, not to say they don't exist, but hey, the fact that I never seen them can't be overlooked.

OMG. What was that? That was a church service? Now, I wasn't raised in church and never really went with any regularity...but my goodness, is that what people get all dressed up for? That poor dude. He is obviously conflicted and seems to have gone to the WRONG place for counsel. "You homosexual demon, get on up outta here." I laughed hard at that part but I'm really crying inside.
