During a CNBC interview on Monday, President Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" off the record regarding his behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards and now TMZ has posted the audio of Obama's colorful remark.
Listen to it here. Do you think this sort of talk is beneath the office of the presidency or did President Obama nail this one?

That is too funny. I love it.

Obama has too much on his plate to be concerned with Kanye West's antics.
What about the financial crisis? And what about Health Care Reform? The "great" speech Obama gave on 9-9-09 about HCR was the speech he should have given 3 months ago!
Considering all Obama has on his plate, not a good look for the president.

The prez should have definitley said something about that republican heckler that blurted out when he was speaking to congress recently and should not even have commented on kanye!

President Obama was 100% correct. And I am glad we have a president who is frank and honest. And one more thing, the president is not so busy that he cant keep up with pop culture. I dig that about him.

The President shouldn't have said anything, considering that it was Kanye West who urged his fanbase to get out and vote in support of him. I feel like it was in bad taste.
And to be honest I think this whole fallout was much ado about nothing. I thought the whole thing was funny. The VMA's are wack as hell and it is sad that Kanye hijacking the microphone was the highlight of the evening.
I'm in total agreement with Jon & anonymous. That was definitely beneath the office of the President.
