Just wanted to draw your attention to an interview I gave earlier this week to San Francisco based blogger Mike Doherty of the LGBT blog Seasons of Pride.

We discussed Jasmyne Cannick's controversial LA Times Op-Ed on Proposition 8, the racial divide in the gay community, and what we as a community can do to heal the wounds from the horrible defeat in California moving forward.

It was an interesting discussion and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. Check it out when you get a moment here.

It's been a crazy busy week. It should be back to business as usual on Monday. Have a safe weekend!

Hey Darian,
Just ready the interview. You continue to be a terrific voice for our community. I know you said that you don't speak for the entire AA gay community - but I'm willing to bet that many black LGBT people echo every sentiment you made.

Please continue the terrific job you do on your blog.

Excellent job my friend! While you are not the only voice out there, I am ecstatic that yours is being heard! Keep teaching and standing in your light!

You seem ready for your close-up. Make us proud, unlike another so-called black gay/lesbian activist I won't name.
