Jim Jones charged with assault for slapping Ne-Yo’s boyfriend?

Poor Ne-Yo. Those pesky gay rumors just refuse to go away. And this story is even more dramatic than the last. We're not holding our breath waiting for him to show up on the cover of People Magazine under the headline- Yes, I'm Gay! anytime soon.

Alicia Skillman, 46, of Detroit is the first African-American executive director of the Triangle Foundation

Alicia Skillman, 46, of Detroit will take her position as the new executive director of the Triangle Foundation, the civil rights and advocacy group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in Michigan.

Once at the helm, she will set out to foster allies from the broader community, shake off stereotypes and confront churches that foster anti-gay discrimination, she said.

"I want them to know I'm not an abomination. I'm just Alicia, a child of God," said Skillman in a recent interview at her office. "My vision is equal rights in the state of Michigan."

Rick Warren's Anti-Gay, Anti-Condom AIDS Work In Africa Exposed

Blumenthal looks deeper into Warren's activities in Africa in the name of AIDS, his ties to anti-gay Anglican religious figures, and his tacit endorsement of condom-burning and anti-gay 'witch hunts' in Uganda.

Keyshia Cole Covers Jet but the subtitle catches our eye

The oh-so ghetto fabulous Keyshia Cole (but I love her!) covers the latest issue of Jet on the heels of her #1 album A Different Me, but it's the mention of drag legend RuPaul that's caught our attention. RuPaul's new reality show Drag Race premieres on February 2nd. Props to Jet for the inclusion, hopefully the article is well-written.

Heather Headley Returns

Tony Award winner and R&B singer Heather Headley returns with her third studio album titled "Audience of One" on January 13th. The new CD is a departure from her previous efforts and is all gospel. Headley is one of the most underrated singers in the industry in my opinion. Be sure to look out for her on the upcoming BET Celebration of Gospel.
