"There is a moral authority that we have dared to stand on as an African-American people. There is an authority that we have dared to stand on as women, but when it comes to our sexual orientation we're still a little mealy-mouthed. Because there is something deep within our psyche-because of the way that we continue to be treated that is making too many of us question whether or not God really does love us equally".
