The blogosphere is a buzz today regarding a recent twitter feud between Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins of the multi-platinum group TLC and gossip blogger/professional gay-baiter Sandra Rose after Rose suggested the singer was a lesbian on a recent post on her website in her usual tacky fashion.
“Former TLC member T-Boz spent her New Year weekend bowling with the Traxx Girls lesbuns at 10 Pin Alley at Atlantic Station. Oh, you didn’t hear that T-Boz dumped her linebacker boyfriend Takeo Spikes and tipped over to the other side? Well, you didn’t hear it from me", writes Rose.
T-Boz fired back via Twitter and offered up the quote serving as the headline for countless blogs today including The Advocate: "I'm strictly dickly".
I can't say that I blame you there girl...so am I. But I digress.
Loldarian.com spoke with T-Boz earlier today via phone and she offered further insight into the feud.
"Sandra Rose has known me since I was 19 or 20 years old and she knows I'm not gay. I have a problem with alienating (gay & lesbian) people for what they do. I'm a celebrity but I didn't sign up for people to lie on me. I had a great time at the event and I'd do it again", says T-Boz.
A woman after my own heart. Sweet, talented, and a friend to the gays. Almost hard to believe that a butch lesbian started this whole beef.

I don't necessarily care for T-Boz, never really was much of a TLC fan. I'm happy she is secure enough in her sexuality that she will give time for her LGBT fans like she does her straight fans but at the end of the day I still don't care. I'm a gay woman and I don't care for her to be on our team I mean come on. Anyway, if this was started by a gay woman, never thought Sandra was gay pr whoever, this is a HUGE waste of time and energy. Marriage equality was defeated in Maine and now New Jersey, gay men and women are being attacked and killed everyday just for being gay and this is your idea of important? Trying to imply a clearly straight former singer of being gay just because she attended an event? News flash, straight people often attend LGBT events and clubs just for fun, that does NOT mean they are gay. This is why we have a hard time getting people, especially blacks, to support or even come near us, they think we all want them (I don't want T-Boz) or will try to convert them and this further reinforces that we try to recruit straights or that being gay is a choice. This is one of the many reasons why are community is struggling to obtain basic rights. Non sense like this. I'm over it...

What is wrong with Sandra Rose? She has been pegged as a vindictive lesbian by SEVERAL urban bloggers and celebrities. She needs to sit down somewhere and find herself. I am not going to lie. I have swung by her blog on several occasions (some of her typed filth is like a car accident you just cannot turn away from), and she has made SEVERAL posts which berate gay Black men, and you can always count on her to insinuate this, that, and the third about male and female celebrities she is obviously obsessed with. Something is truly wrong with her.
