Our dear President George W. Bush is expected to hold a Rose Garden press conference on June 5th to show his strong support for the Federal Marriage Amendment. I swear over the years i've tried to like this man but it's just not humanly possible for me.
While millions of Americans don't have healthcare, schools are lacking funding to educate our youth, gas prices are soaring, and there's a war going on in Iraq, he and his administration believes keeping me from ever getting married is more important!

While I don't think the amendment will get the necessary votes needed to move forward, it's a scary thought to know for the first time an american president is urging the country to write discrimination into our constitution. I guess gays and lesbians are the last group on earth it's ok to hate. I'll be praying for him.
