After months of this story being plastered all over the gay blogs and in the "liberal media" via cable news shows like The Rachel Maddow Show the mainstream media is finally picking up on the atrocity happening to gays and lesbians in Uganda.

ABC Nightline aired a special and often times hard to watch segment on the "kill the gays" bill in Uganda last night with lead anti-gay bigot Pastor Martin Seempa.

If this bill passes then the Americans who imported this level of hatred into Uganda (i.e Scott Lively) will surely have blood on their hands.

Watch the segment below and get ready to cringe.

I JUST THE WORD GETS TO US SO WE WILL BE AWARE OF NOT ONLY WHAT TIME THE CLUB OPENS, AND THE DRINK SPECIALS OF THE NIGHT, BUT ALSO WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR FELLOW GAY MEN AND WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD... THANKS LOVE!

Well, If I didn't ALREADY have a reason to be a non-religious, EX-Christian, I DO NOW.

This was indeed, "hard to watch" because of the huge amount of mis-information and ambiguity around the word homosexual.

All other issues aside from this piece is the *glaring issue of the inaccuracy, incredibility, ambiguity and false sense of superiority of the sacred text and by Christians towards all other religious/non-religious beliefs.*

It is impossible to [seriously] engage in any bible scholarship, particularly the NT, and NOT come away confused and uncertain about the validity of the holy word as an "absolute" and "inerrant" source from GOD. I for one, cannot conceive of an omnipotent/inerrant God who is incapable of writing a book without (1) containing fundamental contradictions on his own instructions for life or (2) preserving the ORIGINAL and ENTIRE book. Consequently, we are fighting among ourselves about the truth of "his" word and meaning.

IT makes NO SENSE that according to scripture(s), true believers will go to "hell" for mis-interpreting God's word in good faith or rejecting his Christianity altogether because of inherent confusion (i.e. God wants us to follow HIM).

*POINT:
So....until/unless we as a people (Christian LGBT's included) START our defense by stripping away the proven, discredited Bible as an valid source of "reasonable doubt" in "God's word", we will always be at a disadvantage in our defense. Only then will the "Christians" be left to stand only on the sinking sand of pure BIGOTRY that causes them to hate us.

I'm most proud of despite the homophobia being forced here the movement still goes on to be free. Uganda and many countries around the world have laws outlawing homosexuality activities resulting in jail time and even prison and yet homosexuals continue to protest publically through marches or meetings. This country went too far but far enough to ignite more flumes to the flames of homosexuality being the only sin.

The problem is that people don't understand that being gay is not a behavior but rather an orientation. Because they don't understand this, they continue to falsely believe that people can just turn off one's natural inclinations at will and make a choice to be heterosexual. The truth of the matter is that Uganda, without a doubt has thousands of gay men and women who will go on being gay no matter what type of draconian law is put in place. The unfortunate thing is that many will suffer extreme abuse and execution and that breaks my heart. I have addressed this issue in my new book. Perhaps since the Lord has given me an international platform, maybe my words will touch the hearts of individiduals in surrounding nations and move them to repond compasionately and rescue the perishing. You can go to my website to read the excerpt entitled: UGANDA MY HEART WEEPS FOR YOU!
