I don't even have the words to express my anger at Howard Stern for being such an insensitive asshole! You'll just have to listen to this audio for yourself. And the icing on the cake is his black female sidekick Robin Quivers supporting Stern's vitriol towards this Academy Award nominated actress.

FYI: Sidibe has already won two new roles. She'll be appearing in "The C Word” on Showtime and a film titled “Yelling To The Sky” with Lenny Kravitz.

Listen to the audio of Stern as well as watch Sidibe's audition footage that won her the role of Precious below:

I appreciate where you may be trying to go with this, but, I heard people here at home and elsewhere say the same thing and they're not Stern listeners.

I'm just saying.

Gotta agree. I didn't even listen cause I know who Howard Stern is.

Not defending or condoning, but thats just why I don't listen to him. I'm not going to get upset by anything Rush or Imus says either.

People are hateful.

Howard is crass, but we gotta be real. He is right. This is showbiz. Hollywood is all about selling image and fantasy. Unless Gabourey does an image makeover she won't be working steadily, if at all.

Everyone knows that Stern is only out to get attention, but I for one am tired of everyone ignoring the fact that Sidibe is morbidly obese. She needs to examine that for her HEALTH, not for professional reasons. Black women, in particular, seem reticent to see anything wrong. I wish her the best professionally but let's be honest....

It seems to me that a lot of people use the potentially deadly health risks of obesity as a way to mask their personal dislike and disapproval of overweight people. I doubt that Howard Stern really gives a crap if this girl lives, dies, or ever acts again. He's just taking a cheap shot at an easy target.

I agree wih all the comments. Although several touch on her needing to lose the weight for to stay in the film industry while others look at her health, in all her interviews she remains a positive person. There are men out here that love big girls like her and do find her sexy and appealing. I hope she does lose weight for health reasons as well as looking better in her dresses.
