President Obama's speech at this past weekend's White House Correspondent's Dinner. Who knew our commander in chief had such great comedic timing? The administration has been mute about recent marriage equality gains but Obama manages to joke about gay marriage in Iowa around the 3:40 mark. Needless to say all the gays weren't laughing.

Comedienne Wanda Sykes made history over the weekend by becoming the first black lesbian woman to perform at The White House Correspondents Dinner. Sykes was fierce and fearless during her performance, taking on Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Sarah Palin who was not in attendance.

Money quote, "”She pulled out at the last minute,” Sykes said. “Somebody should tell her, that’s not really how you practice abstinence.”

Singer Ciara performed her new single Love, Sex, and Magic featuring Justin Timberlake on Saturday Night Live over the weekend and turned in one of her best performances to date. Ciara's new CD Fantasy Ride dropped last Tuesday and is considered to be in a dead heat with Chrisette Michelle for the #1 spot on the Billboard charts.

A major recording deal with So So Def Records has not hindered Dondria Nicole aka Phatffat from returning to her roots on YouTube where she was discovered. Get into Dondria and new loldarian.com crush Mr. Broadway's cover of Ciara's Love, Sex, and Magic.

Y'anna Crawley was crowned the winner of BET's Sunday Best last night. A single mother from D.C., Y'anna walked a way with a national recording contract, a new Lincoln MKS, and the grand title from this American Idol styled gospel competition. Get into one of my favorite performances by Y'anna, a cover of Mary Mary's Heaven here.
