My foray into "closeted gay pop culture" this week on the blog has even surprised me, but I couldn't resist posting this deliciously gay moment from rapper and sex symbol LL Cool J.

TMZ cameras caught up with Ladies Love Cool James as he arrived at LAX airport to board a flight and some interesting conversation ensued.

TMZ's pap: What if you go to a bar and get hit on by a gay guy, does that change your nickname?

LL Cool J: Nah. I guess it just expands your options, huh? Decisions...decisions.

A man has gotta have options! Props to LL for not falling for the anti-gay trap the TMZ reporter set for him by asking him that question. I'm sure you can only imagine the kind of response that question would have evoked if the rapper had been Busta Rhymes or 50 Cent. It looks like Kanye's pro gay attitude might be rubbing off on some of his colleagues.

Get into the TMZ video here.

I read a recent interview by Rupaul and she said that LL was throwing all kinds of homophobia her way when she was on that "In The House" show during the 90's. Maybe times and people really do change?

Looked like he was just trying to dispense with an annoying paparrazi without giving him anything to report. Humor instead of anger.

It seems that LL responded to the reporter's question in such a way that he wouldn't have gay activist types screaming that he's a homophobe.

Good move on his part. He's showing why he's been around so long and that he has learned a few things along the way.

Ummm...I would still give it to him no matter WHAT he had answered. Anyone here with me?
