Some language NSFW

Allow me to take a play from the Jasmyne Cannick playbook(don't worry this is the one and only time) and give video blogger YoBoiNewNue the "Negro Please Award" for taking away six minutes and 58 seconds of my life that I'll never be able to get back after watching his latest video.

This self identified black gay man wants all of you gays out there to just take responsibility for your choices and admit you chose to be gay. I sh** you not! I have to be honest and say that I'd never heard of this guy until a good friend sent me this video on yesterday and I've been going back and forth about whether or not to post it. I decided to post it just for pure entertainment purposes since it's extremely difficult to take anything he says seriously.

Obviously, George Bush isn't the only person struggling with the english language.

Check out what some of his viewers are saying about his ridiculous tirade below:

Maybe that's your own experience but I don't think it's a choice. I think we all have a predestined purpose in life and maybe being homosexual or heterosexual contributes to that purpose. I don't think that because you made the choice to be gay, you should say that others made the same choice. You havent walked in that individuals shoes. From my experience being homosexual is definitely not a choice. You may choose to not to act on it but you cant choose who you are attracted to.

YOU'RE WAY OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE HERE. I'm almost embarrassed for you, kid. You're speaking in absolutes on a very complicated matter that is beyond you.

I really can't take you seriously. You chose to be gay? Really? My mother actually sent me to two psychiatrists as a child in an attempt to have me cured. I'm almost 30 years old and I'm still gay. The sessions didn't work for me because there was nothing wrong with me in the first place. You on the other hand, if you actually chose to be gay in America then you probably could benefit from some counseling. The folks at Exodus International have been waiting for a confused black poster boy.

The most interesting part of the video was the poll being taken by the reporter. Newnue loses credibility once he generalizes his belief system to the entire LGBT community. He says "I [whatever his birth name is] choose to be gay when I was young. It was a decision I made." Then he says "Y'all need to take responsibility for the choices you made. People are not born gay. Don't blame science or your parents." No one knows how sexual orientation differentiation occurs. Period. We, all human beings, simply exist.

He seems sooooo uneducated which makes it hard not to laugh at this...this reminds me of "Soulja Girl" on MARTA...Tragic.

I love Newnue's shows but I must say I was suprised by this out of left field video entry. I kept waiting to be punked at the end. I'm sure he knew it would cause quite the stir, as it has. Everyone has their own experience. Maybe he did CHOOSE to be gay...but there are no blanket experiences for the entire community. When will we learn?
