Broadway veteran and Tony nominee Andre DeShields recently sat down for an interview to discuss his role in the Classical Theater of Harlem production of King Lear, and crafted such a beautiful quote regarding the black gay man in America that I had to share it with everyone. Read it and allow yourself a minute just to absorb his words.
