10 days from now I will start my journey from Los Angeles to my new home in Atlanta. The other night as I was driving down Sunset Boulevard I caught a glimpse of the famous Hollywood sign and for the first time it hit me, I'm really moving and everything that I've become familiar with over the past 4 years will no longer be apart of my everyday. So I decided to share with everyone the things about L.A. that I love and will most likely miss when I settle into my new life in Atlanta.

I moved to L.A. in October 2002 a dancer with a car filled with suitcases, $400.00 in my pocket and a dream. To be a working dancer in this town you've got to take class from all of the hot choreographers and surround yourself with the right people who can move your career forward. The first class I ever took was at The Edge from husband and wife duo Tabitha &Napoleon , it was the hottest hip-hop class I'd ever taken at the time, I was blown away!

But the teacher and choreographer that had the most impact on my dancing had to be Roger Lee . I can't even begin to tell you how insanely talented this man is, classes aren't cheap and I definitely got my money's worth everytime. I always said I wanted to be Roger when I grew up! The control he has over his body, his style, and the dynamics in his dancing are a force to be reckoned with.

Unfortunately, the LA dance community isn't the same as it was when I first moved here, the fire that it once had isn't as strong. But I sure do have some great memories of dancing in the studio for hours, and living my dream in every piece of choreography that was set on my body. So Roger and The Edge, I'll miss you most.
