"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get".

I have you now and for some reason you're constantly on my mind. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you or wish you were here with me when we're apart. You make me smile and forget about all of the other things that are not right in the world. You've made me believe that falling in love again is possible, and that wasn't an easy task.

Thanks for stimulating me intellectually first and not rushing to "know" me pre-maturely. Good things really do come to those who wait. I'm living proof, I've been waiting for you a long time.

Isn't it a crazy but beautiful thing when somebody drops into your life when you least expect it? At this point in my life, amidst the pain of grief, the pressure of a budding professional career, and the frustration of dealing with immature, messy, and emotionally evasive men I never thought I'd meet a guy worthy of my time, patience, and attention. That is, until you came along. As much as I am cautious and calculating with my feelings and expressions, I feel a level of freedom with you. I am very excited to see where this goes.

Remember what I said?...don't count yourself out right away, because you never know what's in store for you? Well, I hope you understand what I meant by that. You are something special, you have my attention, and when I see a good thing I go for mine. Especially if that "good thing" is a solid piece of chocolate masculine beauty with a shy smile, a brilliant mind, and a generous heart. You don't just walk away from that....no sir. So yeah, I'm pretty damn happy you came into my life as well.
