The Game isn't the only show poised for a comeback. The groundbreaking Black gay comedy Noah's Arc is proving to have nine lives and may seriously be on it's way back four years after it's abrupt cancellation.

Loldarian.com received the news yesterday afternoon from a source closely connected to the show who revealed LOGO is indeed close to green lighting a third season of Noah's Arc. If you're as skeptical as I was when I first heard the news, given the false alarms we've had in the past, let me assure you that it's safe to start creating invitations for your viewing party now.

LOGO is TRULY listening. If you want to see the boys return and gay people of color represented on television again it's really up to the fans.

A Facebook page has been created to provide a space for fans to express how the show has impacted their lives and the testimonials are pouring in by the hundreds.

If Noah's Arc helped you accept your sexual orientation, come out to friends and family, salvage a broken relationship with your parents, prevent a suicide attempt, or even change your perception of the LGBT community in a positive way then utilize the Facebook page to tell your story.

If the power of social media can revive an 89 year-old actresses career and win her a hosting gig on Saturday Night Live then it can definitely bring back Noah's Arc.

The Facebook page is HERE

Let me know how you feel about the show's return in the comment section too as LOGO executives read this blog.

Let's take a stroll down memory lane in the video below:

Darian,

This show first came out when i was in the eight grade, and ended VERY abruptly when i had just started high school ! , i wonder about all of the messages i could have learned that could have eased the pain of being in high school dealing with bullying, etc.

I'm in college now (thankfully), but there are TOO many children in high school right now that are facing the same pain I endured !!

There are too many blk gay teenagers that feel completely worthless and unloved because everywhere they look, they are being bombarded with subliminal messages that they are unworthy !!

Sadly, the only happy times in my middle/high school years that i remember where i felt loved and wanted in a larger community WAS WHEN I WOULD WATCH THIS SHOW !!!

One thing that i eventually began to realize about the show, is that straight people watched it too, darian, there were 2 occasions in which i was shocked in disbelief when i walked in and found people watching NA:

1. My cousin had called my little sister in a room to watch tv, they were both 9, she yelled "hurry up"' and i when walked into the room, they were both watching NA so casually and calm, just like it was any other show !

2. THE BIGGEST SHOCKER: I had went to chicago to see my grandmother , who believes MSM is an abomination. One evening i walked in, and she was sitting all cozy in her bed eating popcorn and watching NA, i immediately asked her why she was watching the show, she said it was because she wanted to learn about these men, and that it (the character Alex) was funny.

She liked the show so much that she would watch it every Wednesday and when she came to visit us in Minnesota, she would cook her dinner early and put the children to sleep, and watch the show without interruption.

I remember being so angry when they canceled the show that i sent messages to all the cast and patrick ian on myspace

I told them that logo has to be the most idiotic network in history for Canceling THEIR NUMBER #1 SHOW !!!

Instantly, I stopped watching that network.

Even though they didn't have ratings at the time, it was obvious it was the #1 show on the network because there was never any type of discussion or hype for any of the other shows on that lame network at the time, or even today.

No One is positively talking about that stupid OVEREXAGGERATED-depsperate for attention-sugar coated-un real- insecure- boring-twinkie bitch show they have called the A-List:New York !

Logo Execs, if your reading my comment, how could you cancel a show that was so special to the hearts of millions (and yes, thats how many people watched the show) ?

I've been typing for too long, but all i have to say to those execs, if you want ratings, if you want a (new) higher respect for your network, if you want us loyal NA fans to ever take your racist network seriously again...

BRING NOAH BACK !!! BRING NOAH BACK !!! BRING NOAH BACK !!!

I miss the happiness and laughter i had when watching that show !!

I miss the excitement and anticipation for every new episode each week !!!

I miss having to hold my pee in until the commercial break in awe of what was going to come up in the storyline !!!!

Classic NA:

"
NOAH:My Man Thinks I'm A Hoe
ALEX:My Man Ran Off To Africa
CHANCE:My Man Is Unconscious In The E. R.
Ricky:My Man Don't Even Know He My Man

"

I love Noah's Arc and was really upset when it was abruptly cancelled for no apparent good reason. This show has done so much for myself and others by reflecting our community in a positive light. For once I got to see black gay men in love with each other (instead of chasing white men), not on the down low and were not stereotypical over the top drag queens (like Rupaul's Drag Race). These images were reaffirming and gave me a sense of pride. They also presented a different perspective on what it meant to be a black gay man other than the stereotypes mentioned above that are routinely displayed in the media.

When I first discovered this show I really thought that LOGO was different from most networks and was really interested in showcasing the diversity of our population and specifically the diversity within the gay community. I was wrong. I suspect the only reason they're interested in bring back the show is because of how successful The Game is on BET. Black audiences as a whole are starved for quality entertainment and I'm pretty sure they would like a piece of the action. Whatever the reason, I do hope they bring back the show.

Well well well. I like this news. I watch my DVDs of seasons 1 and 2 over and over and over again. Like many others, I find myself quoting their phrases in regular conversations. Some people look at me not knowing what in the world I'm talking about. lol

I am having a conniption over the fact that LOGO cancelled Noah's Arc. I couldn't believe the network made such an asinine move by cancelling its #1 most popular show a few years ago and never considered bringing it back for a 3rd season. Unbelievable!!!

Well, I am a devoted fan who is elated at the news of their possible return to the network and can only hope that it's not just a ploy to get us fans excited just to let us down. I really love the show and watch ALL episodes, especially when LOGO runs those wonderful reruns. I own season one as well as the movie and will be purchasing season two very soon.

PLEASE bring back all our favorite characters from Noah's Arc. The day that Noah's Arc is back on the air for a 3rd season is the day that the sun will shine again in my world. Thanks for taking the time to listen to the desires of the fans!

I loved this show and I watched it every chance I got. I have always stood up for the Gay community because I have family who are gay, but after watch just the first three episodes I started feeling proud of having a gay family member and that was something I hadn't felt before. This show is about a lot more then any of us can put into words. But let's just say that if you have the opportunity to save one life then why not see if you can save another. That is what this show has done for so many people and so much more. It's edgicating a lot of people about safe sex, Aids, friendship and love. There are so many people out here that need a tool to help them deal and coupe with their sexuality, and this show was and still is that tool. But make sure that when it does come back you keep it for longer then 2 yeas.

Thank you,
Donna Taylor

This show is groundbreaking in many ways and teaches lessons that all young homosexual men need to learn. Helped me in more ways than I can think. It made me realize that there are plenty of out proud black gay characters which you hade never saw before this show and that it is ok to love yourself for who you are

I think it was a good show. Most colored shows r deleted when they out shine the white competiter shows. I believe NOAH'S ARC stole not just the spot light, but the white viewers as well, which made this show more of a dimper to other white gay shows then expected.
