That was my first time seeing this interview with Andre. His story is so interesting and he is refreshingly honest. I thought his story was interesting because of 1) how he contracted HIV, 2)how he tested negative at first--the test he took in May was approximately 3 months after the sex act in February, and usually you would test positive by then--Andre is a clear example of the reason to hold on to the old-school recommendations that it takes six months for the virus to show up in your system, and 3) how he was informed about his new status--someone should have been fired over that one.
I had to pause the interview several times to rewind and reflect on what Andre said. It was incredible.
Great post today, Darian.
