In the words of Lauryn Hill: "You might win some but you've really lost one".

Amidst all of the celebration on Wednesday as D.C. same-sex couples were allowed to apply for marriage licenses I couldn't help but wonder what was running through homobigot Bishop Harry Jackson's mind as his efforts clearly failed to stop marriage equality in the district.

Bishop Jackson took to the airwaves of The Christian Broadcast Network to "solicit prayers" from fellow opponents of marriage equality and to chastise those "activist judges" he hates when they rule against bigotry and in favor of equality.

It was hard not to gloat in the defeat of this media hungry professional bigot and I didn't even try.
