11-Year-Old Hangs Himself after Enduring Daily Anti-Gay Bullying

An 11-year-old Massachusetts boy, Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover, hung himself Monday after enduring bullying at school, including daily taunts of being gay, despite his mother’s weekly pleas to the school to address the problem. This is at least the fourth suicide of a middle-school aged child linked to bullying this year.

Carl, a junior at New Leadership Charter School in Springfield who did not identify as gay, would have turned 12 on April 17.

1. I hate to see suicide at a young age. However, I don't feel this child really understood the whole depth of the cruelty and that what a Bully would say does not necessarily mean it is true. Bullying will happen in schools across America, but parents and school administrators need to find more effective ways to dismantle such behavior actions to avoid child suicide.

2. Rick Warren should step down! What he did is considered reckless and a major transgression against the truth of the bible. That is a very dangerous spot to be in with God. If he is not careful, he will end up like Carlton Pearson, a gifted preacher in error and excommunicated from his spiritual divine position and covering of the Christian faith.

3. In my review of other related stories, Joel Osteen said gay marriage is not God's best. I am not a huge fan of Joel Osteen, but I don't feel he would discriminate against homosexuals.

I have alway been a Fan of Joel Osteen, and his dad was a great minister as well. I could see that it was very hard for him to answer Larry King's question, and his opinion is his opinion.
Love is Love no matter what someone's sexuality is.

Joel Osteen Preaches to an Arena full of dedicated members and I know that everyone cannot be Straight. Would Joel Osteen really turn down marriage rights from his dedicated members who are not straight, would he or could he provide marriage counseling to a member who is not straight.
What if the shoe was on the other foot and Larry King was talking about their kids being gay and wanted to be married. Thanks for the video Darian, and now I'm going to get rid of all the videos and Books that I have of Joel Osteen.

If I fell off a boat in the middle of the ocean and a gay man or woman saves my life, I'm not going to turn up my nose or turn my back. I'm going to embrace him or her and say Thank You. So If gay man or woman saids, I wanna get married, then why don't we all say AMEN.

The Golden Rule is often expressed as "Do onto others as you would wish them do onto you."... Do not impose on others what you yourself do not desire...

As far as the 11-year old Massachusetts boy, much love to his family. Emotions are real, but people just don't seem to understand.

Sorry for going on and on..... on your blog Darian

LOL

p.s

10 Stars for you and Trey
