So Johnny Gill is upset with the black media because he feels we continue to circulate the gay rumors between he and Eddie Murphy. The "couple" have been friends for over 24 years and in a recent interview on The Doug Banks Show Johnny stated he felt people were just jealous of their relationship, repeatedly denying the fact that he is gay or has ever been gay as he began to channel his inner Larry Craig.

Gill even agreed to take a lie detector test before screaming his tired I'M STRAIGHT defense. ""There's not one person on this planet that could ever say they've seen Johnny Gill step outside of the rim or conducted himself as a man." "I keep a stable," he said, explaining that he is not married and has women of all races.

Well, like my friend B. Scott says, "I know a gay when I see a gay!"

In all fairness Johnny Gill may not be gay, but at the end of the day who really cares. When was the last time he was in the media for his music? Let's just go ahead and add him to the long list of black celebrities who refuse to come out.

Check out the audio of the interview here .

Note to Johnny: Being a gay man doesn't make you any less capable of being a great father nor is it traumatizing for your children. Please be a little more careful of the misinformation you're spreading as you proclaim your heterosexuality.

Johnny Gill keeps a stable of what? Beards? LOL. Chile please. Where the pictures? How come we never see pictures of him with any of them?

Seriously, I hope Johnny Gill is NOT gay. Why would any gay man want to claim someone who so vehemently denies he's gay?

Has anyone (male) come forward to say they've had sex with him? Has anyone come forward to say that they caught him having sex with a man? No, to both questions.

I, for one, believe him when he says he's not gay.

If he's not gay, he has the right to say so. As you know, boys and men are being beat up and killed every day for being gay or for being perceived as such. Don't blame HIM for the homophobic society we live in. Leave the guy alone.

You just posted a column about homophobia in the Black community, and this need to label Gill and Murphey as gay is an example of that. I'm so sick and tired with the preoccupation some of our people have with other people's sexuality. And the gay community plays along with this trend of using the word gay to demean and dehumanize people. Instead of taking part in that, we need to show pride in ourselves, and stop acting like there is something wrong with being gay, and that the term should be used to disparage others. We also need to stop going along with the homophobic trend of using stereotypes to say whether or not someone is gay. Two men can be close friends without their being a sexual component to the relationship. As gay people we should know this, and try to help others see that, instead of helping spread ignorance (this also applies to the Bow Wow/Omarion rumors). People in the Black community who are thriving on these rumors don't look at us as being human, or deserving as the same rights as everyone else, so why don't we set the example by not going along with the idea that someone's sexual orientation is open for gossip, silly jokes, or putdowns.

Well, anyway, being bisexual (even if was with a girl only once) means you're not gay, right Johnny?

Love is the interior of us. When we are ready either having a relationship on the same sex it comes only to ourselves.
