To say that I wasn't prepared to receive an e-mail that included one of the most offensive videos about black people that I've seen in a long time would be an understatement. It seems that self-proclaimed "video professional" Loren Feldman of 1938 Media, a company that provides video services to enhances businesses according to their website, has taken a stab at what he believes is a lack of black technology bloggers or lack of black people who are interested in technology period in a horribly racist video he's posted on his compnay's website. In this video Loren creates fictitious websites that he calls "technigga.com" and "ho-tracker.com" in an attempt to provide examples of what black tech sites would look like.

If this video was supposed to be a comedic sattire on black culture it's everything but funny. Obviously Loren didn't get the memo notifying him that it was politically incorrect and often a reason to get your ass whipped for using the word nigger, or nigga when you're a white man. This doesn't justify the use of the n word by anyone of another race, but it definitely carries extra weight when it's used by a man who's ancestors used it to oppress black people for centuries.

It's unreal how easy the word just rolls off his tongue as if he's unaware that it's highly offensive. The only thing that's missing from this video is this jerk in blackface. He manages to include a pipe, a bottle of Bacardi, dark sunglasses, and gold chains when he transitions from the "intellectual" white tech guy into the ignorant thug character in his video.

I'm not exactly sure why he posted this video, but something tells me he did it because he knew it would be offensive and it would drive his traffic up. I'm sure he's definitely succeeded in increasing his traffic because as I'm writing this his video has received over 70 comments . It took all of the strength I had inside not to let him have it on his website, but others were saying a lot of what I wanted to say and I knew I would have more room here to vent.

It's clear that this guy is a flat out racist and there's nothing he or his supporters can say that will make me believe otherwise. No one can say the things that he said in that video without harboring some of those feelings in their heart. And for the record there's tons of black tech bloggers and black people in general who are interested in technology beyond cell phones and car stereos. I worked for Apple Computer and I happen to know quite a few black people who live and breathe technology.

Loren you definitely deserve the racist asshole of the year award ! You are one of the few people that have actually pissed me off to the point that I'm using profanity in my post. Check out the video here and feel free to leave this jerk a comment condeming his video.

it is funny how he is Jewish and did a piece on Hilter but that does not offend you yet a piece that is clearly satirical of society today so genuinely affects you. Why can the Wayan's brother do a 2 hour movie called "White Chicks" and portray the dumb blond image but it is not okay for Loren to do a 5 minute skit. Did you ever watch Flavor of love or charm school on VH-1? What do those woman portray of Black America? The piece at 1938 media was Satirical Art and if it offends you, then don't be a hipocrite and defend the hilter piece as well.

First of all I've never seen Loren's Hitler piece so I couldn't have possibly defended it nor would I ever want to see any of his other work after watching this horrible video. Just some chick I assume that you're white because you immediately pointed to black tv personalities who are equally as ignorant by exploiting our shortcomings as a race or those within the community who fit the ghetto image for profit. In my opinion they are no better than Loren.

His attempt to be satirical failed and if you can't see that this work of "art" is clearly racist then you should stop and re-examine your own feelings regarding race.

Datian... DOnt ever promote a raciest ass like this on your site again. I know you wanted to get your point across but publishing this only exposes this to more eyes.

It always makes me sad that people never see me. They see the stereotypes that this guy mentions as "black." What's most sad is that this is just a vocalization of thoughts many people keep to themselves.

Why all the fuss: It is silly/slapstick/satire or whatever.
It seems to me that it is okay as long as it is not directed at your ethnic group.
Sounds like hypocrisyto me.

Some points to consider!
1/ Biologically there is no such thing as Races(Species) in humans or rather there is only one species of humans - Homo sapiens-sapiens.
Yes it is used in a society - but not by biologists.

2/ Race(ethnicity) is not the samething as colour. they should not be mixed or lumped together.
Ie your colour won't describe/define your heritage, ethnic background, culture, ancestory

It seems to me that the USA-ians should start allover and start re-understanding these concepts.

We have Italian-Americans, Chinese-Americans, Irish-Americans,
Nigerian-Americans, Jamaican-Americans
Then we have Black-Americans

Who are these Black-Americans
Are there people, the colour of soot?
If so where are they.
