Today I thought I would share with you guys a moment that changed my life for the better.

It was during this time that I stepped into my purpose in spite of the fear that I felt inside. Have you ever felt you had a calling on your life to do specific work that could affect the lives of hundreds of people? It was a calling that I heard years before I accepted it in May when I started this blog.

My journey as an activist and blogger is heavily influenced by the work and life of Keith Boykin. Keith introduced my story to the blogosphere and unknowingly gave me the strength to walk in my purpose.

I'll never forget how I felt that day on May 11, 2006 when I looged onto his site, all at once everything started to make sense. Click here to experience that day with me all over again.
