Rev. Irene Monroe Blasts The Mainstream Gay Community Over The Jena 6

Last week I was enraged by the mainstream gay community's response to The Jena 6 and HRC's presence at the rally in Louisiana. From blogger Chris Crain to the Advocate op-ed written by James Kirchick, it was painfully obvious that racism was not exclusive to people outside of our community.

I was not holding my breath waiting for an article to appear in the Advocate that was pro Jena 6, so you have to imagine how surprised I was to read that Rev. Monroe was given a chance to follow up Kirchick's article with a different point of view.
