For the record I could care less about the Tiger Woods scandal and I'm eagerly anticipating the day when this story is not dominating the nightly news programs and magazine covers. Our country is still at war, right? But I digress.

Fox News commentator Britt Humes managed to insult Buddhism while simultaneously showing the complete arrogance of some Christians during a recent discussion about Woods on Fox News Sunday.

"The extent to which he can recover seems to me depends on his faith, said Hume. He is said to be a Buddhist. I dont think that faith offers the kind of redemption and forgiveness offered by the Christian faith. My message to Tiger is, Tiger turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world."

The total hypocrisy of it all is mind boggling.

A Joe. My. God. commentor sums it all up for me:

What I find so hypocritical about these scum media idiots is that they totally ignore the fact that Tiger viciously attacked the sanctity of marriage (according to their own standards). We've heard for the last 5 years, non-stop from these hypocrites, that gays are attacking the very foundation of marriage. Yet here is Tiger, a total het pig, who has now ruined his opposite-sex marriage and severely damaged his innocent kids. Instead of being instantly judgemental, like they are with gays, the media immediately begins to rationalize how they can forgive him and make him an even bigger and better role model. SICKENING!

I'm over Tiger and this whole issue over converting Tiger to Christianity is ludicrous. If Tiger wants to become a Christian thats his business if he chooses to do so. The media is so late and I'm sure other country watch our news online and laugh. Damn shame.

The funny thing is its the truth. If he converts and cleans up his image we will be reading different stories about Tiger.

Life is funny that way.

So let me get this straight, the only way Woods can "clean up his image" is to first convert to a religious faith that he doesn't beleive in and then and only then can he find forgiveness for transgressions. To whomever beleives this butshit I have one thing to say, you and the god you serve can SUCK MY DICK.

Sorry, but Christianity is not the way to salvation for everyone. I really hate that ludicrous notion. If Christianity works for YOU, fine. However, I find no solace in it whatsoever.
What Tiger suffers from is being a nerd who finally became desireable to the opposite sex...He took it and RAN. Ain't no amount of Jesus gonna fix that...Atleast until he gets old, broke, and undesirable...That is when all the hoes go and tell Jesus.

In Total Agreement with The Wicked One.
