Just as I was about to give up on last night's premiere episode of the second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta the drama unfolded in a major way. The "internets" a buzz today regarding the explosive final scene involving housewife Sheree' Whitfield and her "very straight" party planner Anthony Shorter of S.T.E.P.S. Event Planning in Atlanta.

If you didn't see it then I highly recommend that you stop reading now and watch the clip here. There's nothing that I can write that can possibly set up what will undoubtedly go down as one of the best moments in reality television, you'll just have to see it for yourself.

But what's even more entertaining than the clip is the e-mail Shorter sent to gossip blogger and S.T.E.P.S Event Planning photographer Sandra Rose in an attempt to clear the air and proclaim his...uhmmm...heterosexuality.

Hi Sandra,

I am reaching out trying to get the facts straight. First, I am not GAY! Married with children, and love PUSSY.

Second, I was never hired by Sheree or Bravo to do a party. This event was for the Atlanta Music Festival, and the producer’s ask me to modify the event to be included in an episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, entitled Sheree’s Divorce Party.

I also consider myself to be a professional with a long standing resume. But, unless you have work with Sheree or had any dealings with her you wouldn’t understand, where I am coming from.

Thank you,

Anthony

What's the old saying? Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

Thanks for an entertaining night of TV gir! Watch Shorter explain his side of the story in a response video posted to USTREAM after last night's show here.

I was on Sheree's side until the aftershow when I found out that he was throwing the party for her for free. FOR FREE!!

Sheree should have just SHUT UP and shown up at the party if it was for FREE! lol. She had the nerve to complain about a helicopter not flying her in when she wasn't even paying for it.

Her final defense was, "Well, He offered!"

That chick is crazy.....lol

Sheree is a mess, however, all I kept thinking while that "man" spit and cussed in her face was, "What kind of business is he running? Is he really a professional?"

No shade, he came off as a HOODRAT straight off the block. I don't care how upset a client makes you, he should have never lit into her in that manner. He is running a business, no?

And, WHO IS HE FOOLING? I knew he was one of the girls when Sheree initially met him along with his assistant. This will teach Miss Sheree to actually pay for reputable service, not some free hand-out tragedy.

It was very professional of Anthony to try to intimidate Sheree by trying to make her flinch and saying that he'd slap her. What I absolutely loved was when Sheree asked him who was going to check her; his expression was priceless. For a moment there, he looked like he was going to cry. She shut his mouth up and that's why he went on that rampage! I'm so glad she put him in his place. "Men" like him need to learn that they can carry out arguments without calling women "bitches" just because they can't come up with any civilized comebacks. Bien hecho Sheree! (Well done Sheree!).

First, who's he's trying to fool. You can count the really straight black men in ATL on the fingers of one hand, and he ain't one of them. Cunt, cunt, CUNT!

Second, has he never heard of customer service? You NEVER treat any client like that, paying or not. ATL is too small to not have your reputation ruined by trying to act butch in front of the cameras.

Miss Thing, you screwed yourself on national tv!

Wether or not the lady was paying for the party. A gentleman should never, ever speak to a woman like that, in public or in private.

What a sad portrayal of African-American professionals. I watched the first season filmed in NYC and the women were much classier overall.

I'm still confused about what is wrong with the client asking questions. Mr. Anthony really need to control his inner diva straight or not)if he wants to have a business.

Ohhhh Anthony has screwed himself professionally...wheather he's gay or not shouldn't be anyone's concern. However his professionalism and character should be the focus here. Everyone in the Atl area should take their business elsewhere, because whose to say he will not do the same to the next client who questions him on his services. I love Sheree and the only thing I can say about her is that she needs to really humble herself.
