An early demo for the title track 'Discipline' off of Janet Jackson's last studio album has surfaced via That Grape Juice with lead vocals by R&B singer and mega hit producer Ne-Yo. The sexually charged S&M themed tracked was penned for Jackson by Ne-Yo and he seems to be channeling Jackson's breathy delivery quite well as he pleads to be "disciplined by his daddy".
"I need some discipline tonight...I've been very bad...Make me cry...Daddy make me cry".
Now this demo is in no way an indication of Ne-Yo's...uhmm...sexual proclivities. After all we saw the very hetero pics that conveniently leaked at the height of the gay rumors.
Wouldn't it be great if a closeted person in the industry actually came out and released a song like this? Listen to Ne-Yo's version of Discipline here.

not bad at all. it is actually more interesting that janet's version, simply because when do we hear a black man asking to be disciplined? although the falsetto i can do without. i would love to hear it with a different vocal arrangement. "daddy make me cry" lol

Omg. Jsnet is so good at evoking the sexiness in songs. I mean Would You Mind, Moist? Must I go on? But I gotta say...hands down, NeYo Dominated this song. It was incredible to hear him asked to be disciplined..I jus went into LaLa land hearing him.
