It's been seven years in the making but tonight the wait will officially end. Vancouver fans will be the first to see Janet Jackson's brand new world tour appropriately titled Rock Witchu and according to some reports the first show is sold out!
Janet promises to deliver another high-energy show that includes all of her hits from past to present. If you've ever seen Ms. Jackson in concert then you already know she's well worth the ticket price.
Fans will also be treated to an opening act performance by the legendary LL Cool J on the first leg of the tour with Making The Band artist Donnie Klang to join at a later date.
The show will be recorded possibly for a television broadcast, then later packaged with older tours and material for sale. Specifically, her 1990 "Rhythm Nation Tour" recorded in High Definition, but never released to the public.
I'll be out of town when Janet rolls into Atlanta on October 5th, but I plan to be on the front row on October 16th when she arrives at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Of course you'll get to experience the excitement of the tour with me as I'll be posting footage from my night with Janet and the kids.
Take a stroll down memory lane and enjoy the images from Janet's past tours in the slideshow. Check out the tour dates and a recent performance by Janet below.

I've been waiting for this tour for a really long time. I can't wait until next week when she comes to L.A.. I heard the stage has a catwalk and it also moves. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see how your experience turns out.
