Ever since I returned from Chicago people have been asking me what my experience was like at The Campaign to End Aids Youth Action Institute. My goal was to wrap the entire 5 days and all of the learning and emotions that were involved into one sentence, so this is what I've come up with. This experience has taught me that life is precious and in the midst of an epidemic
we have the ability to fight disease, ignorance, homophobia, stigma, and bring and end to the plague that has claimed so many lives over the past 25 years.

I had the opportunity to form new friendships and professional connections with some of the most amazing people who have been working tirelessly in the fight to increase the public's awareness about HIV/AIDS, people who inspired and encouraged me to do the work I know I've been called to do.

I wish I could convey how amazing this experience was for me, but for once I'm at a loss for words.
