Ok ! Am I the only person that's wondering if I was having a bad dream last night when Taylor Hicks was crowned the new American Idol? Young white girls and their moms in the south and midwest have stolen another important competition. Last time it was the presidency ,now American Idol. Let's compare the vocal prowess of Paris, Mandisa, or Chris with Taylor. Guess what? U can't ! They would sing him underneath a rug! I honestly stopped watching the show once Paris was booted off. Props to the Idol producers for giving us a star studded finale, Mary J. Blige and Prince in one night! Janet was the only icon missing. If she had been there maybe I would have forgotten about the tragedy that occured when the results were announced.
