Afternoon Delight: JR Rolley

Consider this your afternoon delight.


There may be storms brewing over most of the east coast today but it doesn't compare to the electric shock of emerging actor JR Rolley.


Many of you may recognize JR Rolley and his chiseled abs as the character Tony from the new gay series Christopher Street. LOGO audiences were introduced to this talented model/ actor in the gay romantic comedy A Four Letter Word. The trailer is definitely worth watching for Rolley alone. Here's a man who knows what to do with his lips.


Rolley is an out black actor and doesn't seem to be phased by the fear of being typecast. "I'm proud to be a black gay male and to be able to play a positive role model who is also a black gay male is rare. I'm very thankful", notes the actor during an interview for A Four Letter Word.


JR Rolley is represented by Model Management and currently resides in New York City. You can learn more about him on his Myspace profile. Move over Trey Songz, JR Rolley is the new loldarian.com crush!

Darian, I must be living in the boonies too long because I've heard heard of him, but I'm glad his an out proud brother. We need more black men willing to stand up and not hide behind the closet door.

I'm gonna go check out the links so I can learn up on this guy.

The two movies I have sen him in are SLUTTY SUMMER and its sequel FOUR LETTER WORDS. He has a very soothing presence on screen and he is very sexy in a quiet way. I love his locks but the braids are hot too! I did read one interview with him and he was so genuine that I became an instant fan. Definitely patronaize this proud,,talented, black,gay brother!
